Designed by Lainie began long before it was ever a business. It started with Christmas.
Every year I’d lovingly (and very enthusiastically) transform my parents’ home for the festive season -much to their amusement. I’ve always been the one rearranging furniture, obsessing over colour combinations and making sure every detail feels just right. I just never realised that what felt so natural to me could become a career.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I studied Fine Art and Graphic Communication in college before completing a Foundation Degree in Fine Art.
Christmas styling was the beginning, but I knew I didn’t want the creativity to stop in January. What started as festive installations has naturally grown into weddings, events and seasonal styling.
Every project I take on is personal to me. I care about the experience as much as the final result. From the first conversation to the final styling touches.
When I’m not styling, I’m teaching Pilates, walking my two golden retrievers, or dreaming up the next seasonal idea. Originally from Bristol, I now call Wales home, and I’m constantly inspired by the outdoors and changing seasons around me.
This business truly comes from a place of love for creating, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
